Physical Verification

Sintegra sees the process from RTL TO GDS and that includes detailed physical verification checks. Our team is strong in verification and cleanup using verification tools from vendors like Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics.  At smaller geometries, this is becoming more complex as the rules change for manufacturing.  

 

These checks include verifying that the layout

• Complies with all technology requirements – Design Rule Checking (DRC)

• Is consistent with the original netlist – Layout vs. Schematic (LVS)

• Has no antenna effects – Antenna Rule Checking

• Complies with all electrical requirements – Electrical Rule Checking (ERC).
